We’re back home again, to the rain and cold!
I just would like to thank you very much for all you did for us during our trip in Borneo! If it hadn’t been for you I think our memories of the trip would have been something else. You were very understanding and listened to us in our frustration with rain and cold weather.
Your attitude always pays off, in the end, and the sun came back, just as you said ;-).
All your guides were great and very knowledgeable. Lukas (and mine)'s favourite was Richard, please send him our best regards.
I will highly recommend you, of course, to everyone!

Dear Melin,
We have now arrived back home after what turned out to be a really wonderful holiday. Thank you so much for all your help and patience during the planning stages.
We were so impressed with the efficiency of Borneo Eco Tours and the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff.
The only problems we encountered were on the day of our arrival in Sarawak.
The flight from Miri to Mulu was delayed by 5 hours and then when we eventually arrived at Mulu there was no one to meet us. It seems that the Head Office of Seridan Mulu had not informed the local guides that we were coming.
I was so glad that I had spoken to you the day before and knew the name of the company concerned. As it was the problem was quickly sorted and we had a really enjoyable trip to Mulu.
Borneo is a wonderful place so rich with wildlife and such welcoming people. We are already planning to come again as soon as possible!!

Our time with Borneo Eco Tours was excellent - all of our guides were brilliant (very informative, friendly and helpful) and the organisation of the tour went incredibly smoothly.
We really appreciated the work which would have been involved in organising it, particularly as you helped us to build our own itinerary.

Dear Borneo Eco Tours
We have just come back from an amazing vacation in Malaysia.
One of the highlights was a week in Sabah, where we had booked trips through Borneo Eco Tours. Everything went smoothly and not once did we have to wait for a guide or worry whether everything was taken care of. I would recommend you to anybody and hope to need your services again one day.
Flora was wonderful and very patient with booking our trip. We changed plans several times, and she did everything perfectly.
Randal was our guide on a trip to Poring Hot Springs and Kinabalu National Park. We were very impressed with his knowledge at the Botanical garden and helped make the day even better than we could have hoped. It was a great experience.
Hamid was our guide on a trip to Turtle Island, Sepilok and Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Turtle Island was an amazing experience. The highlights was seeing 40-50 turtles come up during the afternoon and run to the ocean. They just came out of nowhere :o) Seing the big mother turtle come up and lay eggs during the evening was a great experience. We are so happy to see, that there are people out there doing this for the turtles and helping more turtles survive.
Sepilok was wonderful. I (Louise) wanted to take the orangutangs home :o) They came so close we could almost touch them. I left a part of my heart there. They are truly amazing animals.
Sukau Rainforest Lodge was truly heaven. We love that they do so much to preserve the nature. The staff was so nice, the food was great and we had a wonderful time there. We were so lucky to see 3 elephants bathing in the river, a few crocodiles, loads of monkeys and so on. Can't thank Hamid enough for his knowledge of the jungle. It was due to him we got to see so many animals and have such a great experience.
You have helped give us some amazing memories of Borneo, we will carry with us forever. So thank you very much from 2 very happy travellers.

Hi Flora.
Just wanted to say Thankyou SO much for all your organisational work for our trip. I know you had to change a few things both early in the booking and at the last minute and we are most grateful.
Borneo Eco Tours are wonderful - everything was so well organised, and the staff and guides are so friendly and knowledgable. We had a great time. We saw so much in such a short time and that was down to yourself and the company. I have already told everyone I have spoken to about the holiday how if they go to Sabah they should definately use your company, and I know I'll be back - accompanied by my James this time.
I've attached a few photos - the elephant ones aren't brilliant as it was dusk and the light made it difficult to take them. Hope you can view them ok as I resized them to send them.

Just to say thank you so much for your help with our trip to Sabah. We had a wonderful week. We did go to Poring, but the HIGHLIGHT of the trip was the trip up the river to Sukau Lodge. We saw so many animals and birds in a natural setting - really wonderful. The lodge was a real inspiration.

We had an awesome time in Borneo!
I want to let you know how wonderful our guide, Haswan, was with my 7 year old grandson! Haswan played with him, took him on walks, went fishing with him and did all the things that 7 year old boys love to do.
Haswan was so good to Teige that when we moved on from Sukau to Danum Valley, Teige cried because Haswan was not going with us and he would miss him.
If you would let Haswan's supervisor know how much we appreciated him that would be great. Also please forward the picture, to Haswan, of him with Teige.

Dear Susi,
We had a wonderful time again at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge and everything was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic staff and great accommodation and food.
Our guide was Mark Benedict who really made our trip so special. I can only thank him so much for opening our eyes and ears in the rainforest. How he could find and see the animals and snakes was beyond us. He spotted an orang-utan and its juvenile making a nest on our evening tour near the river, which was fascinating for all of us. His enthusiasm for the job was incredible. Perhaps you could pass on our highest regard for Mark to your management team. He is a real asset to Borneo Eco Tours.
Thanks for arranging our departure from the Lodge at an earlier time. That worked in very well.and we had plenty of time for our return flight to KK. Hopefully, we will return in the near future but perhaps to the Danum Valley.
We are all back at work now in the UK, but still very much thinking of our wonderful trip to Malaysia. Thanks again, Susi
