Hello there! We've back from our wonderful trip now, safe and sound. We all had a really super time and saw so much! I can't wait to go back again. I wanted to thank you and your team for all your hard work in arranging everything for us.

It all went very smoothly, transitions went well, and the guides were very good; generally very informative and attentive. The re-building at Sukau was not a problem for us at all, and we loved the new rooms, very beautiful. Can I ask; was it you who gave us the package of t-shirts and jewellery just before we left Sandakhan? It was handed to me by Aswan (??) our guide. Thank you - if they came from you, that was very kind.

For your information; the tour to the Iban Longhouse with Inter Borneo tours went well, and Danney, our guide was very interesting and obviously cared a lot about the Iban people.

So, again, thank you all very much for a wonderful trip. I am telling everyone they must go to Sabah and Sarawak, especially if they have children - and use Borneo Eco Tours of course!

Hello Agnes (and Albert),

We have just returned to Australia from our 3 week adventure in Sabah and wanted to pass on our very warmest thanks for your help in making it such a wonderful wonderful experience for our family - particularly the children.

Selingan and Sepilok were simply amazing, but the Kinabatangan was definitely a highlight for our children to truly experience wildlife in the wild. We had many close encounters with cheeky (!!!) monkeys and a quite funny time with a pair of gibbons - our 6 year old son Josh joined in the gibbon calling which was so special.

Our guide Fernando was fantastic.Winston was great - Molly (our youngest) still recites some of his wise words! You have a very special country with such incredible natural beauty - we regret not having more time there to explore even further, maybe next time!

Thank you so much again, and thank you to your office staff for going to so much trouble to arrange the change over of shirts for Jack and Josh. They are now proudly wearing their Sukau Rainforest Lodge shirts!

Dear Malvin,

We are almost at the end of our Borneo adventure and are flying tomorrow to KL before moving on to Mongolia. I just wanted to take the time to pass on my thanks. Apart from some room issues at the Rainforest Lodge, which resulted in a very nice upgrade, and an itinerary change at the request of other group members that would have been prevented by a more experienced guide, I have to say that, overall, our tour has been brilliant!!

We have travelled to 10 countries since starting our world trip in March and in terms of professionalism and service, I have to say that your company has impressed us the most! We think that the tour was very well organised, exciting yet relaxing and we could easily have spent another couple of days at the Rainforest Lodge; next time! When we return to Europe next year perhaps I could contact you to discuss business with a view to expanding your profile, especially in Italy?

Meanwhile we are back from our trip and we had A GREAT GREAT Time!! It was wonderfull - sightings at Sukau Rainforest Lodge were fantastic (Crocs, Otters, Elephant, Snakes, Monkeys....) and the kids had the most amazing experience at turtle island - besides the official programme -

while they were playing at the beach and hatchlings were appearing from an undiscovered nest ... Home again after a brief but well worthwhile holiday including our very enjoyable stay at Sukau Lodge. The construction did not bother us at all.

Winston was in fine form it seemed and the new man in the office, Brett, was most helpful in arranging on onward travels to Semporna. So all went well. J (not sure of his full name - Jemiliah perhaps?) was our companion and guide for our 2 days. He was always most thoughtful and informative. My only disappointment, if there was one ... no elephants this time!! I saw a herd during my 2005 visit.

Thank you too Hailin for your advice and assistance over recent weeks. Your service and promptness were very much appreciated. I hope you too enjoyed your short break.

Thank you very much for your fast reply and the wonderful trip that you planned for us. Actually we really liked it a lot, especially sukau, which is an incredible places. Also in Lankayan we really relaxed a lot and was a really wonderful place. Thank you for your suggestions! All the personnel was very kind and helpful especially Nelly (the first day at mount Kinabalu) and Wasil at the Sukau rainforest lodge!

The only inconvenient was that we booked the planes according to the initial program and there was a mistake in the dates there: actually when we got to the airport the guy said that our flight was planned one day in advance but we paid a small fee of 135 RM and we jumped on the flight.

All the rest was really great and we'll surely recommend you and borneoecotours to all our friends that will plan a trip to borneo! So, see you next time in borneo (something to see was still missing on the list of the highlights...)! All the best!

In the 3 days that my family and I had taken up land tours with Borneo Eco tours, we dealt with staff who were very friendly and professional. From the initial enquiry/booking phase, where Annemarie was prompt in reply to our queries, to the warm and friendly Fiona who sent us to the airport, we were very impressed with the service provided by Borneo Eco tours.

I would like to congratulate and thank your team for the wonderful time you gave us in Sabah. Our guide to Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Springs was Lina. She was very friendly, very sensitive to our needs and was knowledgeable. She also made it a point to keep her eyes open for a Rafflesia sign because I had told her that my trip would not be complete without seeing a Rafflesia in bloom. She made my day by taking us to a farm where we actually saw two flowers.Our driver Jayamon was very cautious and careful and made our trip very safe. I hope I have not completely misspelt the names!

The info pack was very nicely put together and gave us lovely souvenirs which I could give my friends at home. After our visit, I have been urging all my friends to visit Sabah and I will definitely recommend your tour company.

Dear Susi,

We came back home 2 weeks ago but I was too busy to write you we had to start to work at once. Our company consisted of 6 people and we all were very satisfied with everything. The accommodation in Kota Kinabalu was even better than expected and the Sukau Rainforest lodge was simply fascinating. The organisation was perfect, we had to wait any time nowhere. Our guide, Mark is a briiliant person, he was very helpful and kind, but the other guides (the young man who was in the Gomantong cave with us) and our boatman during the jungle tour were also very kind and pleasant.

On the 19 January I had my birthday in Sukau Rainforest lodge and it was a very big surprise for me that Mark and the other boys helped my husband to organise it, they got a birthday cake, a bottle of vine and Mark was playing the guitar and everybody was singing the "Happy birthday to you...". at dinner. I will never forget this birthday!! Thank you very much!!

And the programs were interesting and exciting: the boat trip to the Sukau rainforest lodge was phantastic, we enjoyed the speed boat very much. On our half way one of the engines broke down, and we had to get off the boat in a local village. Mark solved the situation very well, he showed us the village and told us a lot of interesting things about the life of local people so at the end we thought that it was even good that our boat broke down because we could see the village and could hear a lot about the village people's life. We would like to thank for the nice presents which were waiting for us in the Kota Kinabalu hotel after the tour, it was very kind. I will recommend everybody your company and of course Borneo itself.

Thank you once more for everything, it was really an unforgetable holiday.

You gave a very nice impression of your office and then when I arrived at the airport the man who pick me up were very nice and informativly about Sandakan. The other guide who took over at the orangutan center (Mike or Mark I cant remember) were very good at english and its very important. (Sorry to tell but its too many who cant speak any english and working as a guide) and he was very easy going.
Your lodge and people out in Sukau were very friendly and it was a very nice place. Im sad that I couldnt stay longer but I´ll be back!

Dear Melin,

We have now arrived back home after what turned out to be a really wonderful holiday. Thank you so much for all your help and patience during the planning stages.
We were so impressed with the efficiency of Borneo Eco Tours and the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. The only problems we encountered were on the day of our arrival in Sarawak.
The flight from Miri to Mulu was delayed by 5 hours and then when we eventually arrived at Mulu there was no one to meet us. It seems that the Head Office of Seridan Mulu had not informed the local guides that we were coming.
I was so glad that I had spoken to you the day before and knew the name of the company concerned. As it was the problem was quickly sorted and we had a really enjoyable trip to Mulu. Borneo is a wonderful place so rich with wildlife and such welcoming people. We are already planning to come again as soon as possible!!

We have just come back from an amazing vacation in Malaysia.

One of the highlights was a week in Sabah, where we had booked trips through Borneo Eco Tours. Everything went smoothly and not once did we have to wait for a guide or worry whether everything was taken care of. I would recommend you to anybody and hope to need your services again one day.

Flora was wonderful and very patient with booking our trip. We changed plans several times, and she did everything perfectly.

Randal was our guide on a trip to Poring Hot Springs and Kinabalu National Park. We were very impressed with his knowledge at the Botanical garden and helped make the day even better than we could have hoped. It was a great experience.

Hamid was our guide on a trip to Turtle Island, Sepilok and Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Turtle Island was an amazing experience. The highlights was seeing 40-50 turtles come up during the afternoon and run to the ocean. They just came out of nowhere :o) Seing the big mother turtle come up and lay eggs during the evening was a great experience. We are so happy to see, that there are people out there doing this for the turtles and helping more turtles survive.

Sepilok was wonderful. I (Louise) wanted to take the orangutangs home :o) They came so close we could almost touch them. I left a part of my heart there. They are truly amazing animals.

Sukau Rainforest Lodge was truly heaven. We love that they do so much to preserve the nature. The staff was so nice, the food was great and we had a wonderful time there. We were so lucky to see 3 elephants bathing in the river, a few crocodiles, loads of monkeys and so on. Can't thank Hamid enough for his knowledge of the jungle. It was due to him we got to see so many animals and have such a great experience.

You have helped give us some amazing memories of Borneo, we will carry with us forever. So thank you very much from 2 very happy travellers.

Dear Susi,

We had a wonderful time again at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge and everything was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic staff and great accommodation and food.

Our guide was Mark Benedict who really made our trip so special. I can only thank him so much for opening our eyes and ears in the rainforest. How he could find and see the animals and snakes was beyond us. He spotted an orang-utan and its juvenile making a nest on our evening tour near the river, which was fascinating for all of us. His enthusiasm for the job was incredible. Perhaps you could pass on our highest regard for Mark to your management team. He is a real asset to Borneo Eco Tours.

Thanks for arranging our departure from the Lodge at an earlier time. That worked in very well.and we had plenty of time for our return flight to KK. Hopefully, we will return in the near future but perhaps to the Danum Valley.

We have just returned from a Holiday in Sepilok, Turtle Island and Sukau Rain Forest Lodge.

Dear Joe,

Now that we have returned to the UK, I must write to you to express our appreciation for a wonderful and most enjoyable tour.
Everything during the 12 days worked on time and according to plan, which surprised us at times in view of the number and frequency of visits in the programme.
